Pretty woman, Only the lonely, Crying, Running scare, were only a few of the nostalgic numbers sung by Dave Collison at a “Roy Orbison Tribute Night2 at The Innisfree public house in Ballards Lane on Saturday 5th March. David Collison did justice to the iconic singer who, at 52, died prematurely of a heart attack in 1988. Dave Collison has been a big fan of Roy Orbison all of his life, and although he has been singing his songs for many years, only started doing tribute nights a few months ago.

The Innisfree closed down for a few years before re-opening last last year, under the same ownership. It is is a small pleasant pub with a good atmosphere and you can be guaranteed a warm welcome from Karen and the rest of the crew. they don’t have draught ales but they do have a number of bottled ales as well as a good choice of lagers and other drinks.
